In 2011, MTS World Gulf Coast created a training system for operators for two new units (Emerald 1000 and Emerald 3000). The system includes:

  • Writing 21 site-specific operations training manuals
  • Delivery of operations training using the site-specific manuals.
  • Training of plant personnel as MTS trainers to sustain the MTS Training System.

In 2012, updates/revisions are being implemented to maintain the technical content.

GLCC’s parent, Chemtura, has purchased 23 titles for the MTS Library for use in training plant operators in the basics of process operation, equipment operations and process control.
