PPG has been a customer for over 30 years. This particular project is a result of a project done at the Circleville, OH plant in the mid-1980s. The PPG engineer that we worked with then is not Vice President of Operations for PPG Asia and he wanted to introduce the MTS Training System to the plants in China, Indonesia, Thailand, and India. The first of what we hope are many projects is being done as a pilot in the coatings plant at Zhangjiagang, China.

The project includes training PPG engineers to write MTS formatted process training manuals, then translating them to Mandarin Chinese for use in training the Chinese operators.
